We love hamburgers more than anything else in the world... we know, we’re weird that way. Our love of ‘all things burger related’ inspired us to spend years researching what makes the perfect hamburger-meat-to-bun ratios, patty recipes, grind coarseness, Maillard reactions, and cheese meltability to name but a few. Beef & Liberty is the product of that obsession - those technical details are exactly what we are all about. It’s this passion that’s made us want to share our burger addiction with the good people of Hong Kong.

Our name originates in 18th century Britain where the leading members of London society gathered in beefsteak clubs to partake of great food, fine booze and entertaining company. The brilliantly named Sublime Society of Beefsteaks was the most famous of all the clubs and its motto was “Let beef and liberty be my reward”. We loved the line so much we took it as our name.

It's hard to believe that Pepperoni's has been making pizzas since 1992. Like Italy's traditional pizzerias, Pepperoni's opened its doors in Sai Kung as a place for expatriate families, friends and neighborhood locals to relax, to experience a real sense of community and of course to share a superb pizza. Although our menu has evolved with the inclusion of uncomplicated comfort food such as curly fries, mouthwatering spare ribs, salads, nachos and many more, our foundation is set in stone; fresh ingredients, Italian authentic simple recipes blended with flavors and new tastes from around the world. With an incredible crust, daily created sauces and 100% real cheese Pepperoni's continues to serve up great tasting pizzas that our loyal following crave. Pepperoni's began with and still maintains a plain and simple philosophy – to serve comfort food at its best. Pepperonis is an institution in Sai Kung and is great for simple value meals with friends and family, we also cater kids make your own pizza parties and do a host of outdoor catering including school fairs, and corporate fun days. Pepperonis also provides a fantastic delivery service to offices and homes with our large range of delicious food.

LILY & BLOOM draw their inspiration from the physical streetscapes and downtown street life that emerged in great cities near the turn of the 20th century. Beginning in Paris and migrating to London, New York, San Francisco, and Shanghai, the years of 1890-1930 marked the beginning of not just the modern city, but the way we now eat and drink. Street vendors, cafes, people watching, restaurants, classic cocktails, chefs and cookbooks - all came to the forefront at this time. Most importantly, the life force of all this - the central urban market - was born.

From the intricate architecture of the brick tenements, to the raw energy of immigrant city life and the places such vendors/hawkers/restaurant owners drank and ate, LILY & BLOOM’s interiors hint at both the urban grits and the creative headiness of the early 1900’s. Together with the ingredient-driven food and drink, the concept celebrates the life that markets, food, and those who produce it have given us literally and figuratively. BUZZ CONCEPTS, by partnering with AvroKO, aim to pay tribute to this era in their new duplex space at LILY & BLOOM.

THE RESTAURANT (5/F)
Just one floor down sits Bloom, the city’s definitive contemporary American kitchen. Brimming with energy and warmth, the restaurant is decked out in wood and industrial elements in a design evocative of old Manhattan, and highlights market-fresh flavours and top-of-the-line seafood in their omnipresent raw bar. Honest cooking meets gourmet produce in a menu that reveals a bounty of traditional American favorites refined with subtle European touch.

Located at the 1st floor of a brand new building in Central with an open view to the plaza, Frites brings the same authentic dining experience to the diners in the area. Frites pays homage to authentic Belgian style with beers being poured in the age-old traditional way. There are many fine eating destinations that match wine with haute cuisine dotted around the city, but sticking to the time-honored traditions in Belgium, where folks come into a warm and welcoming environment for a great plate of food and their favourite glass of beer, Frites offers a well-rounded selection of delights.

Following in the footsteps of his big brother, Wagyu Lounge has grown up to be a firm favorite for drinking and dining. Sitting high up in Soho, Wagyu Lounge has a spacious dance floor, comfortable plus warm brown leather couches all wrapped up in an earthy décor of rustic woods, granite, cast iron features & soft lighting. Wagyu Lounge serves an array of lavish concoctions & lush frozen drinks, offers a late-night menu to indulge in luxurious munchies and we boast a wine list to keep our brunch & dinner crowd blissful. Exuding a soothing, warm and down-to-earth feel, Wagyu Lounge effortlessly switches between being a lounge & a restaurant. The Drunken Pot has ‘fishing market’ ambience with traditional carved wooden door, dangling lights, rustic walls, a bar designed like an old market vendor with aged wood, and colourful hand-painted signs and graffiti telling old fishing tales. Amid the timeless look is a gigantic ‘street art’ mural by Hong Kong urban contemporary artist Ben Pickering representing the vibrant, cosmopolitan scene in Hong Kong, with a traditional Japanese ‘Goddess of the Sea’ sharing local produce.
