Agave offers a menu showcasing regional specialties and creative dishes from Guadalajara, Mexico’s second most populated city, as well as Jalisco. Ingredients used such as various chilies, cactus and fresh green tomatillos are imported from Mexico, whilst our tortillas are handmade on site. Guests can try our wide selection of tequilas or savor our well-known margaritas at the long bar. Our name originates in 18th century Britain where the leading members of London society gathered in beefsteak clubs to partake of great food, fine booze and entertaining company. The brilliantly named Sublime Society of Beefsteaks was the most famous of all the clubs and its motto was “Let beef and liberty be my reward”. We loved the line so much we took it as our name.
"Ga Gi Nang" is a Teochew dialect. One of the province in China. It means Family, Our own people or taking it into a deeper level "Brotherhood". But we are serving Tex-mex cuisine here at Ga Gi Nang.
The reason why we name it Ga Gi Nang is because we all want to have a place to have people bonding together.
A place that we could share our daily life with good foods, drinks and atmosphere. In order to make every customers feel like home as we treat every person as our own people (Ga Gi Nang).
For our name, most of the people in Hong Kong knows what's the meaning of Ga Gi Nang, for that we making it special and easy for people to remember us.
