We wanted to pay homage to one of Japan's most beloved icons – the sumo wrestler - and re-imagined an izakaya and bar that would be ideal for these cherubic champions to play, relax and drink after a long hard day of wrestling on the mat.

"AMAZAKE" is named after the traditional Japanese drink made from fermented rice. The drink is normally sweet and popular to use in many Japanese food and drink recipes. It's even been considered as a homegrown hangover cure – perfect to chug down after a night out at our izakaya bar.

No matter if you hold a small company party or a big family gathering, Ocean Buddy will give you delicious fresh oysters, sashimi, seafood and hot dishes like Angus steak or lamb rack, in impressive style to decorate them for your full enjoyment. Our friendly staffs will listen to your needs and prepare the venue before you arrive. We are located in Kwai Hing, within 8 minutes walking distance from the MTR station. The décor at YUM CHA is reminiscent of a number of nostalgic Chinese dining traditions. A variety of decorative items such as traditional Chinese serving utensils and birdcages appear as a reference to the old teahouses of the past.
