LILY & BLOOM draw their inspiration from the physical streetscapes and downtown street life that emerged in great cities near the turn of the 20th century. Beginning in Paris and migrating to London, New York, San Francisco, and Shanghai, the years of 1890-1930 marked the beginning of not just the modern city, but the way we now eat and drink. Street vendors, cafes, people watching, restaurants, classic cocktails, chefs and cookbooks - all came to the forefront at this time. Most importantly, the life force of all this - the central urban market - was born.

From the intricate architecture of the brick tenements, to the raw energy of immigrant city life and the places such vendors/hawkers/restaurant owners drank and ate, LILY & BLOOM’s interiors hint at both the urban grits and the creative headiness of the early 1900’s. Together with the ingredient-driven food and drink, the concept celebrates the life that markets, food, and those who produce it have given us literally and figuratively. BUZZ CONCEPTS, by partnering with AvroKO, aim to pay tribute to this era in their new duplex space at LILY & BLOOM.

THE RESTAURANT (5/F)
Just one floor down sits Bloom, the city’s definitive contemporary American kitchen. Brimming with energy and warmth, the restaurant is decked out in wood and industrial elements in a design evocative of old Manhattan, and highlights market-fresh flavours and top-of-the-line seafood in their omnipresent raw bar. Honest cooking meets gourmet produce in a menu that reveals a bounty of traditional American favorites refined with subtle European touch.

Identifiable by its colored lettering and open front, Jaspa's restaurants are a Hong Kong institution. With locations in Soho, Happy Valley, Sai Kung and Discovery Bay, Jaspa's effortlessly blends the familiar with the exotic. Our attentive staff, healthy portions big enough to share, upbeat and casual atmosphere and reasonably priced food… all depict a scene of familiarity and homeliness. Known for serving up modern fusion comfort food featuring favorites like our seasonal bay bugs, succulent baby back ribs, chicken fajitas, salmon linguine, perfectly cooked chateau Briand and heavenly Pavlova, it's the food that takes center stage. The largest root-top in Eastern Kowloon commercial district, Sky Garden has stunning city and harbour views. Its elegant, spacious and flexible space design can cater for a wide range of events and celebrations. It is equipped with a wall-mount giant screen for live projection.

Stormies is one of Lan Kwai Fong's quintessential meeting landmarks. Following a nautical theme, the ground floor bar features floor-to-ceiling folding windows that open onto the busy D'Aguilar Street. The floor is covered with teak furniture resembling a ship's deck and a long, polished brass bar countertop stretches across the room. Dominating the bar's sunset yellow walls are large mirrors, framed in stainless steel, complete with brass bolts. Nautical wares such as solid brass barometers, cabin clocks and anchors adorn the walls. A pair of 21-inch televisions screens footage from classic yachting races to annual sports events. The recently renovated upper deck features live sports on big screens and large windows, making it the perfect place to people watch over the busiest party street in Hong Kong.

An extensive menu of seafood, ribs, salads, pastas and sandwiches is available. For a light bite, sandwiches like the Stormies Club or Stormies Classic Burger are perfect. Don't pass up on the scrumptious US BBQ Pork Ribs. The bar also offers a snack menu, with dishes like Stormies Wings and Breaded Calamari Rings.

The 5,742 ft² newly renovated function room at Panda Hotel, the CRYSTAL, is now adorned with its iconic feature - a unique, colour-changing LED crystal wall. Equipped with professional audio-visual facilities and professional catering services, it is a perfect venue for entertaining friends, hosting a wedding ceremony, scheduling a business meeting or even a large-scale seminar.

The Hotel is highly accessible within walking distances from Tsuen Wan or Tai Wo Hau MTR stations, 20 to 25 minutes’ drive from the Kowloon International Trade & Exhibition Centre, the Hong Kong International Airport and AsiaWorld-Expo respectively.
