HIGE Izakaya (ひげ / 髭) – a casual place for after-work drinking in late-night izakaya style. Hidden on a quiet street – the Castle Road in Mid-level, Hong Kong. A few steps away from the Caine Road. Restaurant set up with cozy chiling décor in tatami style that you’d be likely to find in any local Japanese town. Specializing in kushiyaki (aka-meat skewer) bites and quality sakes as well as whiskey and draught beer. Our focus is to show diners a series of dishes that combine creativity and various Japanese cooking techniques. Our fresh seafood flown in 1 / 2 times a week mainly from Japan, to assure freshness and quality. Items are prepared to order and not all ingredients are listed, so please let us know about any allergies or other concerns when ordering.

Voted 'Best People Watching Spot' in Hong Kong, our iconic venue on the corner of Staunton Street is the perfect place to have healthy lunches in the day time and to relax and enjoy bar snacks and drinks after a hectic day in the evening.

The space holds an oval centre-piece bar decorated with large pendant lamps which are set against a backdrop of glowing back-lit “wine-shelves”. The high-rise plush lounge seating is tailor-made for small group gatherings, causal drinking and cocktail sipping.

CRAFTSTEAK, OPEN FIRE COOKING – created for comfort, Craftsteak provides a memorable fine dining experience. A feature of the restaurant is the open fire cooking on the custom made charcoal fired grill which creates wonderful hints of smoke flavor to the sizzling grills. Classic starters, the freshest cuts of steaks from Australia, USA and Canada as well as poultry, seafood and vegetables, all presented with a selection of individual sauces, are there to enjoy in an atmosphere created for comfort. Famous for its great selection of world wines, many available by the glass.

The Optimist is a no service charge Northern Spanish-inspired restaurant and Barcelona chic bar located at 239 Hennessy Road. The three-storied restaurant and bar serves Asador-inspired grilled seafood and meat and creative cocktails and drinks with Spanish flair.
