L16 has been in existence in Hong Kong Park for over 13 years. The totally revamped restaurant is brand new and is presently offering Thai food (in the main) and Japanese cuisine consisting of Sushi, sashimi, tempura and barbecue Japanese style. This is a safe haven for those restless souls who want an unforgettable night out filled with delicious foods, unbelievably creative cocktails and loads of some of Hong Kong's most favoured drinking games!

We wanted to pay homage to one of Japan's most beloved icons – the sumo wrestler - and re-imagined an izakaya and bar that would be ideal for these cherubic champions to play, relax and drink after a long hard day of wrestling on the mat.

"AMAZAKE" is named after the traditional Japanese drink made from fermented rice. The drink is normally sweet and popular to use in many Japanese food and drink recipes. It's even been considered as a homegrown hangover cure – perfect to chug down after a night out at our izakaya bar.

The décor of Lai Bun Fu transports guests back to the colonial days of yesteryear, with the sophisticated marbled floors, forest green panelled walls and refined Chinese antiques, as old favourite Chinese songs are played in the background.

Being the latest addition to the Beerliner chain, this new branch in Kwai Fong's hip mall Metroplaza boasts a unique ambience with an eclectic mix of contemporary décor and Old World design elements featuring beautiful chandeliers and striking arched doorways. Designed by award-winning interior designer Danny Cheng, the restaurant has an open kitchen and a small bar that is reminiscent of a microbrewery in Germany. Complementing the cream-colored stoned brick walls and brown teak furnishings with soft lighting, Beerliner offers a casual dining place in a stylish setting. Beerliner offers a taste of Germany featuring appetizers, salads, mains and desserts. On the other hand, the fully-stocked bar features an impressive list of German bottled beer varieties like Keiler, Kindl Weisse and Schneideer Weisse. German wines and flavored schnapps are also available.
