NEW EXTERIOR DESIGN The Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase includes a number of changes to the front and the rear of the car, some of which can also be seen on the new Mulsanne and new Mulsanne Speed. The grilles, brightware, headlamp clusters and rear lamps have all been revised to give the exterior of the car a sharper, more contemporary appearance. WIDER, REDESIGNED FACE The new, wider radiator grille sits in front of the Bentley matrix, with stainless steel vertical vanes fanning out from the centre. The lower grilles have been widened in line with the front bumper, increasing the car’s road presence. NEW HEADLAMP TECHNOLOGY The design of the headlamp cluster is retained, however the outboard secondary lamps have been moved upwards to align them with the main lamps. The washers sit in the centre. The lamps themselves can operate automatically, with four light modes to cover different driving requirements: urban roads, country lanes, motorways and normal main beam. STRIKING BENTLEY FLYING ‘B’ REAR LAMPS New rear lamps glow with the three-dimensional form of a Flying ‘B’ when operated, making it clear from practically any distance that the car up ahead is a Bentley. NEW DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY Set into the sleek veneers of the dashboard, a new 8" touch screen controls the infotainment and vehicle systems, with 4G connectivity for faster response times, an improved user experience, and compatibility with Apple CarPlay. Google Maps*, satellite imagery and Street View* bring a new dimension to the navigation system, allowing the driver to see routes, junctions and destinations. Mobile phones and tablets can be connected to the car via Bluetooth, or the USB ports in either the Media Drawer or the glove box, allowing them to be charged while sharing their data. An in-car Wi-Fi hotspot provides high speed* access for eight such devices. NEW REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM The optional Bentley Theatre rear seat entertainment system features twin 10.4” touch screen tablets. Shore, where water meets the land, is named after the confluence of its 'onshore' main dining room specialising in prime steaks and the 'offshore' lounge area serving one of the most exciting drinks menus in town. The 10000ft² split-level venue aims to bring nature into a modern interior space. Its 'onshore' main dining room is conceptualised as a natural earth's land and can seat up to 80 persons for banquets and private dining. The 'offshore' lounge, meanwhile, is designed for entertaining and networking, which can accommodate up to 200 guests for private parties with drinks and canapés. The spacious 1800ft² outdoor terrace with comfortable sofas, wooden high tables and booth seating is ideal for alfresco social gatherings, casual lunches and corporate events of up to 200 guests. The lounge and outdoor terrace can be combined into a larger space for grand-scale events of up to 400 persons.
LILY & BLOOM draw their inspiration from the physical streetscapes and downtown street life that emerged in great cities near the turn of the 20th century. Beginning in Paris and migrating to London, New York, San Francisco, and Shanghai, the years of 1890-1930 marked the beginning of not just the modern city, but the way we now eat and drink. Street vendors, cafes, people watching, restaurants, classic cocktails, chefs and cookbooks - all came to the forefront at this time. Most importantly, the life force of all this - the central urban market - was born.
From the intricate architecture of the brick tenements, to the raw energy of immigrant city life and the places such vendors/hawkers/restaurant owners drank and ate, LILY & BLOOM’s interiors hint at both the urban grits and the creative headiness of the early 1900’s. Together with the ingredient-driven food and drink, the concept celebrates the life that markets, food, and those who produce it have given us literally and figuratively. BUZZ CONCEPTS, by partnering with AvroKO, aim to pay tribute to this era in their new duplex space at LILY & BLOOM.
