AnOther Place by David Myers is the Gypsy Chef™’s answer to the urbanites’ want for a home away from home. Hidden in an industrial complex situated on Hong Kong’s Victoria harbourfront, this speakeasy dining room unfolds Chef Myers’ own gastronomic West-meet-East adventures through a duo of 4-course and 6-course French Asian tasting menus. Not-to-be-missed are pop-up local artist exhibitions and contemporary music gigs that grace the chillout lounge and hallways.

CRAFTSTEAK, OPEN FIRE COOKING – created for comfort, Craftsteak provides a memorable fine dining experience. A feature of the restaurant is the open fire cooking on the custom made charcoal fired grill which creates wonderful hints of smoke flavor to the sizzling grills. Classic starters, the freshest cuts of steaks from Australia, USA and Canada as well as poultry, seafood and vegetables, all presented with a selection of individual sauces, are there to enjoy in an atmosphere created for comfort. At Garage Society QRC, we have 2 adjacent event spaces A and B, and an even larger terrace. Our venue rental includes the use of our versatile indoor event space as well as our beautiful outdoor terraces with a beautiful view.

Craft Beer Corporate Events

Our homebrewing and beer tasting workshops provide the perfect team building opportunity.

Our homebrewing workshops are a great way to promote team-bonding over the course of the 3+ hours, as participants enjoy craft beers while having a hands on experience with the beer making process. Beer related topics such as brewing basics, beer history and different craft beer style will also be covered. Our venue can hold up to 16-20 persons.

We also offer craft beer tasting events / workshops that last for less than 3 hours. Beer tasting provides a more relaxed and casual environment, participants will be able to learn about what happened to the beer world over the past decades, while having the chance to taste different type of craft beers from different beer style from all over the world. Event style can be sit down or standing, depending on the nature required. Our venue can hold up to 40 people standing, and 20 people sitting.
