What was once the famous Woo Cheong pawn shop became The Pawn in 2008 and re-opened in collaboration with British celebrity chef Tom Aikens after an extensive refurbishment. Since its inception in 2008, Ta Pantry has thrilled guests with a series of creative, cuisine-driven menus showcasing chef Esther Sham’s signature cooking style. The private kitchen’s new address opened in 2015 is a homecoming of sorts for chef Sham, who is thrilled to return to the Star Street neighborhood. Ta Pantry can accommodate up to twenty guests in its intimate 600 sq ft space.
The 4938ft² Park Lane Room I-VI create a lingering impression with its grand entrance and 10ft ceiling. Presenting a far-reaching view of the city and Victoria Park from one of the hotel's highest levels, its oversized windows set a glorious scene in the morning and a romantic one after sunset.
