The Fat Pig is a creative nose-to-tail pork concept where dishes are categorized by cooking method, are served as and when ready and are made for sharing encouraging you to try different cuts. The only authentic Japanese restaurant located on the Southside of Hong Kong, Shoku is a 4,000 square-foot beachfront venue with three private rooms and tables for large parties featuring Hong Kong’s largest authentic Japanese “Binchotan” charcoal grill as its centerpiece. Guests are encouraged to choose from the selection of fresh seafood such as whole scallops, Kinki fish, surf clams, abalone, conch and much more from the display around the grill which is flown in daily from the best suppliers in Japan and then cooked on the grill in front of the diners.

Shoku uses binchotan, an extremely pure, high-carbon charcoal made from oak because its high density allows it to burn with very little smoke at a steady high heat over long periods so that it locks in the juices of seafood and meats and enhances the natural flavours of the food.

We are a homespun restaurant with a simple core philosophy: to create food that heals with the highest culinary standards and using the freshest, most nutrient-dense of sustainable, plant-based ingredients. 

Our menus are customisable to your tastes and requirements, and we remain flexible to special dietary requirements and holistic lifestyles. Our team aims to work closely with our clients in order to deliver the most seamless catering projects in town, beginning from our focus on quality and consistency, and a dedication to wow our clients with innovative plant-based cuisine.

Erba Bettolino, occupying 1,000 sqft., is fully renovated in loft style, there are 2 zoning【EARTH】and【AQUA】respectively.

【EARTH】represents an opened kitchen, for organizing cooking-related workshop such as “Sous Vide”, marinating and cookery, etc.

【AQUA】represents an opened bar, suitable for organizing beverage type workshop such as coffee, beer brewing, etc.
There is also a long common table which is capable to accommodate 14-16 people.
