Being the latest addition to the Beerliner chain, this new branch in Kwai Fong's hip mall Metroplaza boasts a unique ambience with an eclectic mix of contemporary décor and Old World design elements featuring beautiful chandeliers and striking arched doorways. Designed by award-winning interior designer Danny Cheng, the restaurant has an open kitchen and a small bar that is reminiscent of a microbrewery in Germany. Complementing the cream-colored stoned brick walls and brown teak furnishings with soft lighting, Beerliner offers a casual dining place in a stylish setting. Beerliner offers a taste of Germany featuring appetizers, salads, mains and desserts. On the other hand, the fully-stocked bar features an impressive list of German bottled beer varieties like Keiler, Kindl Weisse and Schneideer Weisse. Legends of India, a fine dining Indian restaurant and bar centrally located in Tsim Sha Tsui offers a unique blend of Indian Cuisine with a menu filled with authentic North, South Indian dishes along with popular Indian Street food.

The only authentic Japanese restaurant located on the Southside of Hong Kong, Shoku is a 4,000 square-foot beachfront venue with three private rooms and tables for large parties featuring Hong Kong’s largest authentic Japanese “Binchotan” charcoal grill as its centerpiece. Guests are encouraged to choose from the selection of fresh seafood such as whole scallops, Kinki fish, surf clams, abalone, conch and much more from the display around the grill which is flown in daily from the best suppliers in Japan and then cooked on the grill in front of the diners.

Shoku uses binchotan, an extremely pure, high-carbon charcoal made from oak because its high density allows it to burn with very little smoke at a steady high heat over long periods so that it locks in the juices of seafood and meats and enhances the natural flavours of the food.

There are many fine eating destinations that match wine with haute cuisine dotted around the city, but sticking to the time-honored traditions in Belgium, where folks come into a warm and welcoming environment for a great plate of food and their favourite glass of beer, Frites offers a well-rounded selection of delights.

Stormies is one of Lan Kwai Fong's quintessential meeting landmarks. Following a nautical theme, the ground floor bar features floor-to-ceiling folding windows that open onto the busy D'Aguilar Street. The floor is covered with teak furniture resembling a ship's deck and a long, polished brass bar countertop stretches across the room. Dominating the bar's sunset yellow walls are large mirrors, framed in stainless steel, complete with brass bolts. Nautical wares such as solid brass barometers, cabin clocks and anchors adorn the walls. A pair of 21-inch televisions screens footage from classic yachting races to annual sports events. The recently renovated upper deck features live sports on big screens and large windows, making it the perfect place to people watch over the busiest party street in Hong Kong.

An extensive menu of seafood, ribs, salads, pastas and sandwiches is available. For a light bite, sandwiches like the Stormies Club or Stormies Classic Burger are perfect. Don't pass up on the scrumptious US BBQ Pork Ribs. The bar also offers a snack menu, with dishes like Stormies Wings and Breaded Calamari Rings.
