Dating back to 1888, The Pawn is housed in one of Hong Kong’s most historical buildings. What was once the famous Woo Cheong pawn shop became The Pawn in 2008 and re-opened in collaboration with British celebrity chef Tom Aikens after an extensive refurbishment. Featuring modern British cuisine on the second floor ‘Kitchen’ and handcrafted cocktails and artisanal spirits on the first floor ‘Botanicals’ bar.
With a permanent art collection curated by well-known Hong Kong artist ‘anothermountainman’ (Stanley Wong) featuring some of Hong Kong’s top contemporary artists, The Pawn has become more than just a dining space. The Sun Room is located right next to our cafe on the 3/F. Whether it is a business luncheon or a cocktail party, guests will have full access to our outdoor terrace and catering services. Our head chef Steve Chou hails from two of New York City's renowned one Michelin-starred restaurants, Public and The Modern and brings with him a skilled, sophisticated culinary technique that is bold and unconventional while still paying special reverence to the French classics.
ABOUT THE CLUB
With an area of 6,000 square feet, Bungalow provides customers a club experience unlike any other. The venue is fitted with the latest in entertainment production such as Funktion-One speakers, moving head spot lights, lasers and 4 wall-sized LED screens. The elevated DJ booth is equipped with three Pioneer CDJ2000 Nexus decks and a DJM900 Nexus mixer, in which is surrounded by a full service semi-circle marble bar. J. Candice Interior Architects is the vision behind the blue and white renaissance-esque design of the space, which features 14 VIP tables and 4 by-invitation only tables next to the DJ booth. As eye candy, the eerily eye-catching giant framed photographs decorating the walls are taken by noted German photographer, Helen Sobiralski. A rising talent, her works are all inspired by traditional Baroque paintings but re-interpreted with modern elements.
Organize a spectacular celebration or event at Le Meridien Ballroom. Stretching across 160 sq m (1703 sq ft), this stunning hall boasts abundant natural daylight, the views of the lush green hills and the South China Sea, and 4 meter high ceiling. The ballroom can host up to 120 guests with ease. For small scale events, it can be separated into two sound-proofed function rooms.
Located in the buzzing Lan Kwai Fong, it only takes 5-minute walk from Central MTR Station. The 900 square feet space can fit 55 guests. Other equipment such as complimentary Wifi or audio system etc are all well prepared. For food and drinks, guests can either bring their own F&B, order from the outside restaurant or request us to prepare in advance. We can also pre-order oyster and red wine with 5%off for guests who hire our venue.
