Shoku uses binchotan, an extremely pure, high-carbon charcoal made from oak because its high density allows it to burn with very little smoke at a steady high heat over long periods so that it locks in the juices of seafood and meats and enhances the natural flavours of the food.

Quietly nested in Sau Wa Fong in Wanchai, LALA CURIO’s boutique is meticulously designed to mirror a dream home for entertaining.
