MAMA SAN by Will Meyrick – With his Scottish heritage, an Australian accent and an Indonesian home, Will Meyrick isn’t easily categorized. Often described as Western on the outside and Asian on the inside, Will’s passion for the cuisine culture and culinary heritage of this fascinatingly diverse part of the world, is what really defines him and sets him apart as a chef and restaurateur. This award winning chef and restaurateur now brings his incredible talent to Mama San in Hong Kong. Lavishing a collection of Asian flavours on his menu, Will continues to delight diners with an amazing collection of dishes from the South East Asian region. Aberdeen Street Social is the third collaboration in Hong Kong between Michelin-star Chef Jason Atherton and entrepreneur Yenn Wong, founder of the JIA Group. It is set in a historic 1950’s two-storied building within PMQ, the new landmark of Hong Kong’s creative ecology, at SoHo in Central.

Following on his highly successful openings in London, Singapore, Shanghai and Hong Kong, Aberdeen Street Social serves Atherton’s modern British cuisine, bar bites, delicious desserts and great cocktails.

Designed by the Shanghai-based award-winning Neri & Hu, the bright and airy venue has outdoor terraces on both floors for alfresco dining and gardens surrounding the property.

UPSTAIRS - RESTAURANT houses a contemporary restaurant inviting an intimate dining experience, with a private room and outdoor terrace overlooking the gardens.

DOWNSTAIRS - BAR & BISTRO is a cosy room with a long bar and outdoor patio for all-day socialising! A menu of British comfort favourites, delicious desserts to share, bar bites and great cocktails makes it the perfect spot for all-day casual dining, afternoon tea with friends and pre or post dinner drinks till late.

Aberdeen Street Social is operated by the JIA Group which also includes 208 Duecento Otto, Mak Mak, 22 Ships. Duddell’s, Chachawan, Ham & Sherry and Meen & Rice.

Depending on the size of your group, we are able to reserve the semi-private dining room, the Upstairs Restaurant, Downstairs, Bistro & Bar or the whole venue.
