Set in a casual and comfortable atmosphere, the restaurant is paved with earth tone tiles splashed with a burnt orange wash, exuding a warm and refreshing and ambiance. Ornaments hung on the walls include bows, arrows and animal skins. Eye-catching canvas tents are set in various areas and over the buffet area. Seating is finished in plush New Zealand sheepskin and rawhide lampshades complete the final touches. The all-you-can-eat Mongolian-style buffet allows you to create your own main course from a wide range of fresh meats, vegetables, sauces and spices. You can follow your desired recipes on our signboards, pass the ingredients to our chef who will cook your dish to perfection and bring it to your table served piping-hot in minutes. The only authentic Japanese restaurant located on the Southside of Hong Kong, Shoku is a 4,000 square-foot beachfront venue with three private rooms and tables for large parties featuring Hong Kong’s largest authentic Japanese “Binchotan” charcoal grill as its centerpiece. Guests are encouraged to choose from the selection of fresh seafood such as whole scallops, Kinki fish, surf clams, abalone, conch and much more from the display around the grill which is flown in daily from the best suppliers in Japan and then cooked on the grill in front of the diners.

Shoku uses binchotan, an extremely pure, high-carbon charcoal made from oak because its high density allows it to burn with very little smoke at a steady high heat over long periods so that it locks in the juices of seafood and meats and enhances the natural flavours of the food.
