Dating back to 1888, The Pawn is housed in one of Hong Kong’s most historical buildings. What was once the famous Woo Cheong pawn shop became The Pawn in 2008 and re-opened in collaboration with British celebrity chef Tom Aikens after an extensive refurbishment. Featuring modern British cuisine on the second floor ‘Kitchen’ and handcrafted cocktails and artisanal spirits on the first floor ‘Botanicals’ bar. 

With a permanent art collection curated by well-known Hong Kong artist ‘anothermountainman’ (Stanley Wong) featuring some of Hong Kong’s top contemporary artists, The Pawn has become more than just a dining space. It is a communal social venue for an eclectic mix of groups and sub-cultures, celebrating retro-futurism, arts & design, through casual-chic, al fresco and relaxed dining.

Beerliner Whampoa Garden boasts a unique ambience with an eclectic mix of contemporary décor and Old World design elements featuring beautiful chandeliers and striking arched doorways, as well as an open kitchen and a small bar that is reminiscent of a microbrewery in Germany. Japanese for "fireworks", the dining experience at Hanabi is a burst of seamless, intricate Japanese flavors meshed with a modern flair. This is thanks in part to popular Japanese sushi chef Michael Chan (previously of Café Kool and NOBU Intercontinental Hong Kong) who brings his signature subtle Japanese cuisine with a fusion flair to this newly opened, intimate, romantic restaurant.
