MORE ROOM IN THE BACK The Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase adds 250mm of legroom in the rear, its extended rear doors making it easier to get in and out of the car in style. And with electric curtains to each of the rear windows it is the perfect mode of transport for those with the occasional need to travel incognito. AIRLINE-STYLE RECLINING SEATS Optional airline-style reclining seats give travellers in the rear the chance to relax as they might on a private jet. And the connection with flying is not one made lightly. This is the Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase: the ultimate combination of speed and exquisite luxury. PANORAMIC REAR SUNROOF A tilting glass sunroof invites a cascade of daylight into the rear of the car, while an electric Alcantara blind can eliminate the glare of the sun at the touch of a button. ELONGATED CENTRAL CONSOLE An elongated central console runs the length of the cabin, its handcrafted veneers concealing a range of storage options for the comfort of rear seat passengers, alongside controls for seat heating and ventilation, the sunroof and the electric curtains built into the windows. And when it’s time to work, picnic tables fold out elegantly from within. NEW EXTERIOR DESIGN The Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase includes a number of changes to the front and the rear of the car, some of which can also be seen on the new Mulsanne and new Mulsanne Speed. The grilles, brightware, headlamp clusters and rear lamps have all been revised to give the exterior of the car a sharper, more contemporary appearance. WIDER, REDESIGNED FACE The new, wider radiator grille sits in front of the Bentley matrix, with stainless steel vertical vanes fanning out from the centre. The lower grilles have been widened in line with the front bumper, increasing the car’s road presence. NEW HEADLAMP TECHNOLOGY The design of the headlamp cluster is retained, however the outboard secondary lamps have been moved upwards to align them with the main lamps. The washers sit in the centre. The lamps themselves can operate automatically, with four light modes to cover different driving requirements: urban roads, country lanes, motorways and normal main beam. STRIKING BENTLEY FLYING ‘B’ REAR LAMPS New rear lamps glow with the three-dimensional form of a Flying ‘B’ when operated, making it clear from practically any distance that the car up ahead is a Bentley. NEW DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY Set into the sleek veneers of the dashboard, a new 8" touch screen controls the infotainment and vehicle systems, with 4G connectivity for faster response times, an improved user experience, and compatibility with Apple CarPlay. Google Maps*, satellite imagery and Street View* bring a new dimension to the navigation system, allowing the driver to see routes, junctions and destinations. Mobile phones and tablets can be connected to the car via Bluetooth, or the USB ports in either the Media Drawer or the glove box, allowing them to be charged while sharing their data. An in-car Wi-Fi hotspot provides high speed* access for eight such devices. NEW REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM The optional Bentley Theatre rear seat entertainment system features twin 10.4” touch screen tablets. Deployed electrically from within the backs of the front seats, they provide access to many of the car’s systems for back seat passengers, including journey and vehicle data, games, digital music and even DVDs. Thanks to the in-car WiFi, video calling, media streaming and cloud-based services are also available. The tablets can also be removed from the car. With an area of 6,000 square feet, Bungalow provides customers a club experience unlike any other. The venue is fitted with the latest in entertainment production such as Funktion-One speakers, moving head spot lights, lasers and 4 wall-sized LED screens. The elevated DJ booth is equipped with three Pioneer CDJ2000 Nexus decks and a DJM900 Nexus mixer, in which is surrounded by a full service semi-circle marble bar. J. Candice Interior Architects is the vision behind the blue and white renaissance-esque design of the space, which features 14 VIP tables and 4 by-invitation only tables next to the DJ booth. As eye candy, the eerily eye-catching giant framed photographs decorating the walls are taken by noted German photographer, Helen Sobiralski. A rising talent, her works are all inspired by traditional Baroque paintings but re-interpreted with modern elements.
