ONE OF THREE NEW MODELS Alongside the Mulsanne Speed, the new Mulsanne has been updated, while the range is completed with the introduction of a third, completely new model, the Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase. NEW EXTERIOR DESIGN The new Mulsanne Speed is instantly recognisable, with a number of visible changes to the front and the rear of the car. The grilles, brightware, headlamp clusters and rear lamps have all been revised for a sleeker appearance. WIDER, REDESIGNED FACE The new radiator grille sits directly in front of the familiar Bentley matrix grille, its stainless steel vertical vanes spreading further across the front of the car than in earlier models. The lower grilles and the front bumper are also wider than on the previous incarnation of the Mulsanne, making the car appear closer to the road. NEW HEADLAMP TECHNOLOGY The daylight-running LED secondary headlamps are a few millimetres higher than they were on the previous Mulsanne, their rims now aligning with those of the main lamps. The technology has been updated, too. The washers are now in the centre of the secondary lamps, concealed behind bright chrome discs until deployed. The lights themselves operate intelligently, with different light modes for towns and cities, country lanes, motorways and driving situations in which the traditional main beam is preferred. STRIKING BENTLEY FLYING ‘B’ REAR LAMPS When the daylight fades, completely new rear lamps glow with the three-dimensional form of the Bentley Flying ‘B’ – a clear visual demonstration of Bentley’s attention to detail. NEW DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY Set into the sleek veneers of the dashboard, a new 8" touch screen controls the infotainment and vehicle systems, with 4G connectivity for faster response times, an improved user experience, and compatibility with Apple CarPlay. Google Maps*, satellite imagery and Street View* bring a new dimension to the navigation system, allowing the driver to see routes, junctions and destinations. Mobile phones and tablets can be connected to the car via Bluetooth, or the USB ports in either the Media Drawer or the glove box, allowing them to be charged while sharing their data. An in-car Wi-Fi hotspot provides high speed* access for eight such devices. *Not available in all markets – please call us to discuss in more detail *Dependent on mobile network signal NEW REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM The optional Bentley Theatre rear seat entertainment system features twin 10.4” touch screen tablets. Deployed electrically from within the backs of the front seats, they provide access to many of the car’s systems for back seat passengers, including journey and vehicle data, games, digital music and even DVDs. Thanks to the in-car WiFi, video calling, media streaming and cloud-based services are also available. The tablets can also be removed from the car. At Café Duvet, the intimate white walled bar with dark timber floor is highlighted by high-gloss, lipstick red stools. Here, you can relax and create your own cocktails and people-watch at the busy D Deck. Café Duvet's bar is overlooks a second, larger raised outdoor space situated in the centre of the Square. This self-contained area, surrounded by tall palms and Jacarandas, is where customers can tuck into one of the seven canopied booths fitted with comfortable blue and red colored day-beds as they enjoy drinks and tapas. The booths are complemented by three huge circular day-bed shaded by sun parasols.
LILY & BLOOM draw their inspiration from the physical streetscapes and downtown street life that emerged in great cities near the turn of the 20th century. Beginning in Paris and migrating to London, New York, San Francisco, and Shanghai, the years of 1890-1930 marked the beginning of not just the modern city, but the way we now eat and drink. Street vendors, cafes, people watching, restaurants, classic cocktails, chefs and cookbooks - all came to the forefront at this time. Most importantly, the life force of all this - the central urban market - was born.
From the intricate architecture of the brick tenements, to the raw energy of immigrant city life and the places such vendors/hawkers/restaurant owners drank and ate, LILY & BLOOM’s interiors hint at both the urban grits and the creative headiness of the early 1900’s. Together with the ingredient-driven food and drink, the concept celebrates the life that markets, food, and those who produce it have given us literally and figuratively. BUZZ CONCEPTS, by partnering with AvroKO, aim to pay tribute to this era in their new duplex space at LILY & BLOOM.
