Inspired by the crazy nightlife and ferocious drinking culture of Japan, AMAZAKE is an izakaya and Japanese specialty bar combining the best of drinking's past, present and future. This is a safe haven for those restless souls who want an unforgettable night out filled with delicious foods, unbelievably creative cocktails and loads of some of Hong Kong's most favoured drinking games!

We wanted to pay homage to one of Japan's most beloved icons – the sumo wrestler - and re-imagined an izakaya and bar that would be ideal for these cherubic champions to play, relax and drink after a long hard day of wrestling on the mat.

"AMAZAKE" is named after the traditional Japanese drink made from fermented rice. The drink is normally sweet and popular to use in many Japanese food and drink recipes. It's even been considered as a homegrown hangover cure – perfect to chug down after a night out at our izakaya bar.

The 5,742 ft² newly renovated function room at Panda Hotel, the CRYSTAL, is now adorned with its iconic feature - a unique, colour-changing LED crystal wall. Equipped with professional audio-visual facilities and professional catering services, it is a perfect venue for entertaining friends, hosting a wedding ceremony, scheduling a business meeting or even a large-scale seminar.

The Hotel is highly accessible within walking distances from Tsuen Wan or Tai Wo Hau MTR stations, 20 to 25 minutes’ drive from the Kowloon International Trade & Exhibition Centre, the Hong Kong International Airport and AsiaWorld-Expo respectively. Being the latest addition to the Beerliner chain, this new branch in Kwai Fong's hip mall Metroplaza boasts a unique ambience with an eclectic mix of contemporary décor and Old World design elements featuring beautiful chandeliers and striking arched doorways.
