We wanted to pay homage to one of Japan's most beloved icons – the sumo wrestler - and re-imagined an izakaya and bar that would be ideal for these cherubic champions to play, relax and drink after a long hard day of wrestling on the mat.

"AMAZAKE" is named after the traditional Japanese drink made from fermented rice. The drink is normally sweet and popular to use in many Japanese food and drink recipes. It's even been considered as a homegrown hangover cure – perfect to chug down after a night out at our izakaya bar.

Located at the heart of Sheung Wan, A.STYLE is just minutes away from Central, also known as Poho, an upcoming art and cultural area in downtown Hong Kong. The space has just renovated with clean white wall, grey floor, sound system and flexible settings. In keeping with The Salted Pig's rustic, English-style farmhouse concept, interior designer Kinney Chan blends homey and chic elements, with blackboards, wooden pedal, a chopping block bar, a fun and playful pig mural and various pig-themed items. The use of wood is everywhere, such as bare wooden tables and simple wooden chairs. Single tables and booths are available for intimate social gatherings, while a full-height shelf can be slide out to form a private area for parties.

Combinations of beige, grey and brown shades, as well as a touch of red are used to generate a homey and warm feeling. By creating a natural and cozy ambience, this rustic restaurant is ideal for local guests and tourists to escape from the modern world. Another highlight of the restaurant is the spacious outdoor terrace, where diners can enjoy relaxing alfresco dining and wind down from the hectic workweek at the same time.

ESPACE is a multi-purpose events venue conveniently nestled in the very heart of Central – with expansive views over Exchange Square and IFC, this generous 4000ft² private, customizable indoor space is a true rarity in Hong Kong.
