We wanted to pay homage to one of Japan's most beloved icons – the sumo wrestler - and re-imagined an izakaya and bar that would be ideal for these cherubic champions to play, relax and drink after a long hard day of wrestling on the mat.

"AMAZAKE" is named after the traditional Japanese drink made from fermented rice. The drink is normally sweet and popular to use in many Japanese food and drink recipes. It's even been considered as a homegrown hangover cure – perfect to chug down after a night out at our izakaya bar.

G7 Private Dining is an elegant oasis in the Hong Kong dining scene. Tucked away in a discreet yet central location just above Wyndham Street, G7 provides clients with the perfect intimate setting for group dinners, parties, special occasions, or just a romantic dinner for two.

Chef Eddy is well known in Hong Kong's dining circle as a pioneer of the private kitchen scene since the 1990's, and with G7 he is back in Central to share his authentic and refined take on Italian food. Using only the freshest seasonal produce, from Chef Eddy's home-made breads and pastas, to white truffles from Alba and fresh daily seafood from Hokkaido, G7 provides clients with a culinary experience not to be missed! The self-serviced takeaway counterpart Public Deli and the full-service Public Restaurant on Level 37 of One Island East present a vast array of culinary options and both available for event hiring. Public Deli features four different booths including Hagaki (Japanese), Pho Real (Vietnamese), Colibri (Italian) and Bombay Boom (Indian) and the linked 150-seat Public Restaurant with floor to ceiling windows is a round-the-clock dine-in area providing a seasonal contemporary fare of International favourites including Italian, Indian, Japanese and Vietnamese cuisines.
