Stormies is one of Lan Kwai Fong's quintessential meeting landmarks. Following a nautical theme, the ground floor bar features floor-to-ceiling folding windows that open onto the busy D'Aguilar Street. The floor is covered with teak furniture resembling a ship's deck and a long, polished brass bar countertop stretches across the room. Dominating the bar's sunset yellow walls are large mirrors, framed in stainless steel, complete with brass bolts. Nautical wares such as solid brass barometers, cabin clocks and anchors adorn the walls. A pair of 21-inch televisions screens footage from classic yachting races to annual sports events. An extensive menu of seafood, ribs, salads, pastas and sandwiches is available. For a light bite, sandwiches like the Stormies Club or Stormies Classic Burger are perfect. Va Bene presents a light aesthetic that opens up the space and evokes true Italian style. It adapts a minimalist interior design style without extra decoration. A large 12 seats bar area near the entrance makes it the perfect place for cocktail party. A wide variety of carefully selected wines and classic Italian cocktails are served in Va Bene. Two private dining rooms with 10 - 20 seats provide an intimate space for small scale private dining with friends and families. With a premium sound system installed and the spacious set up of Va Bene, it can conveniently cater for different exclusive private parties and events.
