Opened since 1998 in Hong Kong as the brain-child of veteran restaurateur, Mr. Carmelo Lopez. A native Spanish himself, he came to Asia in the 70’s but was still nostalgically attached to the richness and exquisite taste of the cuisine of his motherland. Ole was created from this crave for authenticity! "Ga Gi Nang" is a Teochew dialect. One of the province in China. It means Family, Our own people or taking it into a deeper level "Brotherhood". But we are serving Tex-mex cuisine here at Ga Gi Nang.

The reason why we name it Ga Gi Nang is because we all want to have a place to have people bonding together.

A place that we could share our daily life with good foods, drinks and atmosphere. In order to make every customers feel like home as we treat every person as our own people (Ga Gi Nang).

For our name, most of the people in Hong Kong knows what's the meaning of Ga Gi Nang, for that we making it special and easy for people to remember us.
