Rúla Búla is part of the Irish expression 'Ri Ra agus Rúla Búla' which translates to 'uproar and commotion' in the context of a celebratory and good time.

The concept design is influenced by warehouse type bars in the meatpacking district of New York. Along with contemporary cocktails, cutting edge music you can still expect the famous warm Irish service!

We love hamburgers more than anything else in the world... we know, we’re weird that way. Our love of ‘all things burger related’ inspired us to spend years researching what makes the perfect hamburger-meat-to-bun ratios, patty recipes, grind coarseness, Maillard reactions, and cheese meltability to name but a few. Beef & Liberty is the product of that obsession - those technical details are exactly what we are all about. It’s this passion that’s made us want to share our burger addiction with the good people of Hong Kong.

Our name originates in 18th century Britain where the leading members of London society gathered in beefsteak clubs to partake of great food, fine booze and entertaining company. The brilliantly named Sublime Society of Beefsteaks was the most famous of all the clubs and its motto was “Let beef and liberty be my reward”. We loved the line so much we took it as our name.

Inspired by a love of hearty Italian cuisine and fresh, healthy Californian cooking, our passion is to make every meal a special one for our diners.

From "00" flour and fresh mozzarella from Italy to quality seafood and meats from France and Australia, we use only the choicest seasonal ingredients to prepare our dishes lovingly on site. Our signature pizzas are made-to-order and fast-fired in our state-of-the-art stone hearth oven, while our vast selection of pastas and salads includes classic favourites as well as innovative creations drawn from our culinary adventures around the world.

From meetings, special celebrations to wedding ceremonies, our modern boardrooms are the best choice for small to medium size events. Just set the date and our dedicated team will handle the rest. With its elevated location directly on the South China Sea, the Upper Garden has an unparalleled 180 degree view of neighboring islands and the blue rolling seas of the Clearwater Bay peninsula. 

Tall Palm trees and a multitude of flora and fauna welcome visitors and provide complete privacy in this exceptional venue located only minutes from the city. 

Accessible both by vehicle and helicopter with 60 Amperes of power and fresh water, the venue is a location for a regular TV series and is ideal for photo shoots, television commercials, brand promotions and private events.
